This project was conducted by the "Community Service Initiative" of RC Birla College on August 10, 2022 at 11:00 AM.
To celebrate Raksha Bandhan with police officers and enjoy the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan with those who fight around the clock for our safety and security without demanding anything in return.
1. The RCBirla flagship initiative, Suraksha Ka Bandhan, was launched in 2016–17 with the goal of celebrating Raksha Bandhan with frontline professionals who dedicate their entire lives to ensuring the safety and security of society, such as police officers, physicians, traffic police, etc. Every year, it is pursued with the same fervour and energy.
2. This project was carried out the previous year with the goals of encouraging the use of handmade eco-friendly rakhis and tree planting. This year, we completed the initiative by having all of the participants attend the police station, celebrate the holiday with police officers, and give care packages to military personnel. Up until last year, we only went to one police station, but this year, we went to two.
3. RC Birla sent a card and rakhi by courier to the military academy (Military Intelligence Training School in Pune)
4. On August 7, 2022, an activity on the official WhatsApp group kicked off the project's promotion. JPEG and PR were sent later.
5. On August 9, 2022, the team assembled at the site, and work on the project began at 11 a.m. All members in attendance heard the chairperson's explanation of the project.
6. After the preparation of the thali, participants tied Rakhis to both male and female police officers. After the party, they gave an explanation of the police station and how things work there.
7. At the second location, the team tied Rakhi to each of the B.K. Birla College watchmen.
8. The directors expressed appreciation to the officers for their support of the project. Around 2:00 PM, the project was finished.
